Tenant Rep supports Saxo Payments in a strategic relocation
JLL offered Saxo Payments an end-to-end service, which included searching for the right location and building, negotiating on Saxo Payments’ behalf and liaising with local lawyers during the preparation of legal documentation.

Our client Saxo Payments was occupying 500 sqm as office space on the ground floor of the Espace Monterey building. That building is a second-hand building located in the CBD district.
Saxo Payments opened an office in Luxembourg in summer 2017, transferring many employees from Copenhagen to Luxembourg. And in summer 2018, the Company was acquired by the Swedish Private Equity Firms, EQT and EQT Ventures. The Company has been growing rapidly since, and they outgrew the space much faster than expected hiring local talent. As an extension in Espace Monterey was not possible, Saxo Payments instructed JLL to assist them to relocate to a bigger space.
In parallel, Saxo Payments no longer needed the premises in Espace Monterey and wished to terminate their lease ahead of the next break date.

In parallel, JLL provided assistance to Saxo Payments to reduce their liability as much as possible by identifying another tenant to rent the whole premises in Espace Monterey from Saxo Payments’ moving date.
